In our daily work, it is difficult to imagine the moment when a fire suddenly breaks the calm. However, hidden safety risks remind us that prevention is always better than cure.

On July 14, 2026, WOOKE organized a comprehensive fire safety training session for all employees. The program focused on essential fire safety knowledge, hands-on practice in using fire hydrants and fire extinguishers, and developing the ability to protect ourselves and assist others in emergencies. Through continuous safety education and practical training, WOOKE remains committed to building a safer workplace and safeguarding every employee's life.

Step 1: Pick Up the Fire Extinguisher

Stay calm and quickly retrieve the fire extinguisher from its designated location, such as a wall-mounted holder or fire equipment cabinet. Lift it securely with one hand and carry it steadily to a safe position near the fire. Remaining calm and moving carefully are the first steps toward effective firefighting.

Step 2: Pull the Safety Pin

Once you are at a safe and effective operating distance, firmly remove the safety pin located at the top of the extinguisher. This small metal pin prevents accidental discharge. Removing it means the extinguisher is now ready for immediate use.

Step 3: Aim the Nozzle at the Base of the Fire

Hold the discharge hose or nozzle firmly and aim it directly at the base of the flames—not the flames themselves. Extinguishing the fire at its source is the most effective way to interrupt the combustion process and quickly bring the fire under control.

Step 4: Squeeze the Handle

Finally, squeeze the operating handle firmly to release the extinguishing agent. Direct the spray at the base of the fire while sweeping the nozzle from side to side until all flames are completely extinguished. Continue spraying briefly to help prevent the fire from reigniting.

Fire safety is everyone's responsibility. Through regular training and emergency preparedness, WOOKE continues to strengthen safety awareness, improve emergency response capabilities, and create a safer working environment for every employee.
