DTH HOLE OPENERS PRODUCT FEATURES:

DTH Hole Openers have another name of "Reaming bits", which are primarily used to enlarge pre-drilled pilot holes to a larger diameter and are widely applied in mining and quarrying, water well drilling, geothermal wells, foundation piling, tunnel construction, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD). Typically used in combination with pilot bits, reaming bits offer excellent rock-breaking capability and are suitable for both DTH and top hammer drilling systems. They are essential tools in large-diameter drilling operations.

Customizable Designs: Since different customer has different drilling needs, we can customize and produce DTH Hole Openers based on your specific drilling requirements, including shank type, overall dimensions, etc.

Multiple Gauge Buttons: Our DTH Hole Openers are equipped with strategically placed carbide buttons on the gauge area to enhance wear resistance. These buttons ensure precise hole diameter and extend the bit's service life, even in abrasive formations.

Back Reaming Capability: Some DTH hole openers are equipped with back reaming buttons to prevent bit burying, particularly effective in softer ground conditions. This is an alternative choice for the customer.

Integrated Pilot Design: The front end features a center pilot section, guiding the reaming process and ensuring hole accuracy.

Strong Alloy Steel Body： The DTH Hole Openers are made of high-grade alloy steel, heat-treated for toughness and durability. This ensures the bit can withstand the demands of high-pressure DTH drilling systems.

Compatible with DTH Hammers: The spline design at the rear of the hole openers is compatible with standard DTH hammer shanks (such as QL or DHD series), enabling high-impact energy transfer.
